Comment:

The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) is a National Charity fighting eye cancer in children. Their work revolves around three aims:
1). To offer support and information to families of children with eye cancer. They aim to link families in the same situation and area, give mutual support, understanding and practical help.
2). To raise funds for research related to retinoblastoma.
3). To raise awareness of this childhood cancer with the public and health professionals.

Newsletters are sent out three times a year.
Retinoblastoma is a cancer of the eye that develops in children, typically under five years old. The survival rate for children affected is increasingly good. However many children will have an eye removed as part of their treatment and some both eyes.
