Comment: | This is a national domiciliary optical service, operating through eleven Healthcall Optical Services branch offices (see below), offering sight tests to older and disabled people in care homes, sheltered housing and in their own homes who are unable to visit the optician. No charge is made to the patient, but a claim is made for the NHS sight test and spectacle contribution from the PCT.
