Comment: | The Cheltenham Housing Aid Centre is an independent charity that exists to provide advice, help and information to empower and enable people to resolve their housing need. They can help whether you are homeless, staying with family or friends, a council tenant, an owner-occupier, a private tenant, a housing association tenant or a landlord with property to let.
CHAC's team consists of General Advisors who deal with most issues including those faced by the elderly and those with mental health problems. There are also two Young People's Advisors who work with young people aged sixteen to twenty five, a Money Advisor, a support team who keep an accommodation register, manage the Deposit Bond Scheme and assist people to move into their new homes and the Housewarmers team, who help the clients settle into new homes..
For telephone advice or to make an appointment call the Centre direct between 9:30am and 4:30pm. Appointments for advice are available between 10:00am and 1:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Drop-in for advice is available from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Thursdays.
