Comment:	NORCAP is a support group for adult adopted people, and both their adoptive and birth relatives. Not simply a tracing agency, NORCAP provides many services aiming to support, provide guidance and sympathetic understanding - offering a telephone helpline and help service re searching and research (Register maintained since 1982). It also provides an intermediary role for those seeking renewed contact. Liaison with Government, Local Authorities, Adoption and Fostering Agencies and other related organisations allows NORCAP to press for improved policy in this field.
