The Fostering Network provides practical advice and guidance through a membership help line, books, leaflets and an extensive conference and training programme. The quarterly magazine Foster Care, which is free to members, contains up to date information on all aspects of fostering and is available at a cost of £2.75 per copy or £10.00 per annum to non members. Fosterline, the national foster carers' adviceline on 0800-040-7675, is a free service funded by the Department for Education and Skills and run by the Fostering Network. It is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (8:00pm on Wednesdays), except Bank Holidays. It can also be contacted by e-mail - [email protected].
Membership available for foster families, students of Social Work, local groups and corporate organisations, details on request. Fosterline is available to all - membership of the Fostering Network is not necessary.
