The Thyroid Eye Disease Charitable Trust (TED) aims to provide care and support to those affected by thyroid eye disease. It has established a network of support groups and telephone helplines throughout the UK, and it promotes a better awareness of the condition amongst the medical profession and general public. TED also provides patients with information and names of hospitals that have an awareness of thyroid eye disease, as well as circulating newsletters and raises money for research.
