Organisation:Association of Breastfeeding Mothers

Comment:

The Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) was set up twenty years ago in the UK to provide support and information to breastfeeding mothers. They train voluntary breastfeeding counsellors to assist mothers and give information through their voluntary twenty four hour Helpline. Breastfeeding counsellors answer helpline calls from home on a twenty four hour basis, but they do ask that only urgent calls are made at night. Calls are usually put through to the caller's nearest ABM counsellor. The Association has a wide range of breastfeeding booklets and leaflets for sale. You can also get counselling via email through [email protected].
Members receive a regular newsletter with breastfeeding information and details of the latest research.
