Comment: | The Disability Information Service Huntingdonshire (DISH) provides information and advice to all disabled people, those caring for them and professionals working in the field of disability. Subjects dealt with include welfare benefits, access, holidays, sport and leisure, special equipment, housing, education and employment, voluntary and self help groups etc. Welfare Benefit advice, assessment and help completing forms is available by appointment at various outreach centres in Huntingdonshire, where home visits can also be arranged.
DISH also provides an information and advice service to parents and carers of disabled / special needs children.
The DISH helpline is open Monday to Thursday from 9:30am to 2:30pm. |
