Organisation:Disabled Facilities Grant

Comment:

A grant may be available to make alterations to your home in order make it more suitable for a disabled person to live in. Assessment of disability and works required are undertaken by Occupational Therapists from the Social Services Department. The amount of any grant will depend upon an assessment of income and savings. The grant system is explained in the Department of Environment booklet House Renovation Grants. The office is opened 9:00am (9:30am on Wednesdays) to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday for house owners, council tenants and private tenants in the Cheltenham Borough.
