The National Trust (NT) provides largely accessible historic buildings, gardens and countryside sites and the means to see these properties in commfort and peace. Assistance dogs are welcomed. Many properties have braille guide books and taped guides. For people with impaired mobility, parking is provided near to viewpoints where possible. Powered vehicles are available at some properties. Their 'Admit One' card scheme admits the necessary companion of a disabled visitor free of charge. This is on request and while the normal charge applies to the disabled visitor - contact the National Trust for more information.
