Comment:

The National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries (NATLL) promotes play, based on regular toy loan. Toy Libraries can be found in community and family centres, schools, libraries, hospitals, clinics, mobile vans and playbuses etc. Toy Libraries are often run by volunteers and offer quality toys to borrow, a place for shared play and a friendly atmosphere for parents to meet and information about other local services and support from visiting professionals. Leisure Libraries evolved from the toy libraries for people with learning difficulties, operating a loan system for specialist leisure equipment and provide information, advice and support to parents, friends and carers. A list of Toy Libraries in your area can be provided - send an SAE please.
