The University of the Third Age (U3A) enables people to participate in constructive activities, broadly of an educational kind. No academic qualifications are required and none are awarded. The Stroud and District Branch is a warm and friendly group that meets on the first Thursday of the month at The Maypole Hall, Paganhill, Stroud at 2:30pm.
Classes include Art, French, History, Poetry, Psychology and many other subjects, and are generally held in private houses and taught on a voluntary basis.
