Comment: | Fairtide Centre is a day centre for adults with learning disabilities. The clients have their own committee, set up to give them an opportunity to exchange information and ideas, explore problems and talk around a subject to achieve a better understanding of it. Everybody on the Committee is encouraged to participate and contribute whatever they have to offer.
The Client Committee organises fund-raising events and makes decisions on how money from the amenity fund is spent. |
