Organisation:Newholme Day Centre

Comment:

Newholme aims to help and encourage adults with physical disabilities to gain confidence in their abilities and enable them to become as independent as possible. It helps develop lost skills and learn new ones. Newholme offers advice on equipment and entitlements and also gives the opportunity for people to engage outside the centre for further education and leisure. Newholme also offers respite for those who would be housebound and allows carers to have a break and a chance to re-energise. They are now able to offer a one day service (on Thursdays) to people sixty five or over.
