The Returners Programme is a structured training programme to provide on-the-job training and practical work experience for long term unemployed people, people from the ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, in various service units within Gloucester City Council.
The Programme is available annually, a one year placement, usually starting in September each year. All training will be supported by regular assessment interviews and a comprehensive individual training plan together with an appropriate level of day to day supervision. Sponsorship can be given and opportunity to train to an appropriate NVQ level.
