The Transition Information Network (TIN) is an alliance of organisations and individuals who came together with the common aim: to improve the experience of disabled young people moving to adulthood. TIN is developing into a primary source of information and good practice for disabled young people, their families, and for professionals. They produce a magazine ("My Future Choices") three times a year. The magazine is free to disabled people and their families, with a scale of charges to others. Subscribers to the magazine automatically become members of the Transition Information Network, and will receive invitations to the free quarterly seminars that TIN holds. TIN produces a 'Guide to getting what you need from your Local Authority at 19' which costs £5.00 to disabled people, parents, carers and advocates, £10.00 to others.
The Transition Information Networkis a joint venture between Action 19 and the National Development Team.
