It has news on one side of the tape and a magazine section on the other. It is recorded weekly and sent out free of charge to listeners. Subsequent tapes are sent on return of used tapes and wallets. The service is available to registered blind and partially sighted people free of charge. Listeners who have poor sight or are not on the register may need a GP's or optical assessment to receive this service postage free.
