Climb (Children Living with Inherited Metabolic Diseases) is an organisation which aims to further medical research into metabolic diseases in children and the pre-natal diagnosis of these disorders. They provide information and support to families affected by, and professionals associated with, metabolic disease. They help over five thousand families, and the information covers over seven hundred different conditions.. There is a Young Persons Service, involving young people affected by these diseases and their siblings, including a penfriend scheme, a magazine, and a helpline. Climb also has a network of volunteers throughout the country.
