Comment: | The Painswick Inn Project incorporates the Sunshine Bakery, a Cafe and supported accomodation for sixteen to twenty five year-olds, a Hall for community use, and various craft workshops, in addition to the Painswick Inn administrative offices. The project is housed in the former British School and Painswick Inn in Stroud - one of their aims is to help people find their next step in life. Further details available from the office.
They offer free courses (including NVQ's) for sixteen to twenty five year olds (phone them for a 'taster') and they also have a sound recording studio.
There is also the stroud.com shop on the high street for web training, advice and free access for those on benefits, £1.00 per hour for everyone else.
They also operate an Entry to Employment scheme, based on practical skills. Referrals via Connexions, YOT or Housing Agencies.
