Organisation:Bristol Research into Alzheimer's and Care of the Elderly (BRACE)

Comment:

Although research into the causes of dementia is taking place throughout the world, Bristol is unusual in that various aspects of the condition are being investigated within a research structure across the city. BRACE is a registered charity which raises funds to support the research work being undertaken at three Bristol Hospitals - the Molecular Genetics Laboratory and South West Brain Bank at Frenchay Hospital, the Molecular Neurobiology Laboratory at Bristol Royal Infirmary and The Brace Centre at Blackberry Hill Hospital. Donations are always needed. To become a supporter of the organisation or make a donation, contact the BRACE appeal officedirectly.
They are looking for people who are willing to run events in their area to raise funds for BRACE. They can offer publicity posters etc. to help you get started.
