A Winter Fuel Payment is a one-off payment to help older people with their heating bills. To get a Winter Fuel Payment for winter 2006 / 2007 you need to be sixty or over in the qualifying week of 18th. to 24h. September 2006 and normally living in Great Britain or Northern Ireland.
