The Cotswold Council for Voluntary Service operates a Dial-a-Ride scheme for older, disabled and frail people living in Tetbury or the surrounding villages. Dial-a-Ride offers transport to doctors, dentists, shops etc. Office hours are 9:00am to 1:00pm Monday to Friday. An answer machine operates out of hours. The Dial-a-Ride buses are wheelchair accessible and Travel Tokens are accepted.
The Cotswold Council for Voluntary Service also operates the Tetbury Voluntary Car Service, which complements the Dial-a-Ride Service. It is available at 39p per mile for medical appointments etc. The whole volunteer service is also available to people in surrounding villages.
