Careline offers a twenty four hour monitoring service using a Careline Unit and body worn radio trigger. Pressing the red button on the Unit or the radio trigger raises an alarm call. On receiving an emergency call, Control Centre Staff will talk to you via the speaker on your unit. On establishing the problem a decision will be made on what action should be taken.
Grants are available for:
1). People over sixty on low incomes, in receipt of Income Support, Housing or Council Tax Benefit, and
2). People under sixty in receipt of one or more of the above benefits, and / or DLA (Disability Living Allowance).
The charge for persons eligible for grants is £1.28 per week.
