Organisation:Guild of Disabled Homeworkers

Comment:

Many disabled people work from home and make items for sale in shops run by charities and social services. The Guild was set up to offer these people a better chance. Free markets were started and surplus materials collected for the disabled homeworkers use. A free-market shop is based in Nailsworth. Enterprise Aid vans tour shopping areas in Gloucestershire carrying free-market displays of saleable items made by disabled people, allowing friends who shop for home bound people to contact the Guild.
