Organisation:Sheltered Housing (Stroud District Council)

Comment:

There are twenty nine Sheltered Housing schemes in the Stroud District, each with a resident scheme manager. The schemes are purposely designed or adapted to enable independent living with the added security of knowing someone is available in an emergency. Most Sheltered Housing schemes have a communal lounge which acts as a meeting place. Activities commonly include parties, dance classes and table skittles.
