Comment:

The Lifeline alarm service is a way of getting help via your telephone, quickly and efficiently. It consists of a special unit which is connected to an ordinary telephone line and a small pendant which can be worn round the neck. In the event of a fall, sudden illness or an emergency, an alarm call can be raised instantly. The call is received at a control centre based in Hereford, which is open twenty four hours a day, every day - whenever a call is made, there will be someone there to arrange for help.
There is a small charge for this service which is invoiced quarterly in advance. The only additional cost is your usual payment to your phone company for the charge of line rental and the calls that you make.
