The mission of the IBS Network is to inform, support, and educate those with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and their families and carers; to improve the quality of life of those with IBS and to raise public awareness of IBS and the issues surrounding this condition.
The IBS Network is an organisation for people with IBS offering information, support and advice. Their quarterly journal - Gut Reaction - covers a wide variety of topics relating to IBS. Fact sheets are also available. All members receive a "Can't Wait" card. The IBS Network also providess:
research updates;
a media list;
befrienders and pen-friends;
telephone contacts;
a helpline;
group programme;
e-mail list.
