Typetalk is the national telephone relay service run by the RNID, and funded by BT. Open twenty four hours a day, every day of the year, Typetalk enables deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, speech-impaired and deafblind to communicate with hearing people anywhere in the world. Calls are charged at BT rates as if dialled direct. Calls allow text users up to 60% off calls, as well as offering a link into the emergency services.
