The Salvation Army Luncheon Club, held every Thursday at 12:30pm, offers a three course meal followed by a social club starting at 1:45pm (see separate record). Many people arrive at about 11:30amfor a chat before lunch, making it a day of socialising. A special free Christmas lunch is organised for members. Some transport is available for this event through Dial-a-Ride.
