Cirencester Library provides an extensive public library service, holding a large collection of books for all ages and interests. Compact discs, music cassettes, videos (some sub-titled), spoken word cassettes can also be borrowed - or reserved - free of charge, by the registered disabled. Other services include Internet connection, fax facilities, photocopying and County Information Online.

The Library also runs a Housebound Service - transport to the library can be arranged on the fourth Wednesday afternoon each month for anyone housebound through age or disability. The library also has a team of volunteers who will deliver books to the home of housebound readers.
