Dial-a-Ride operates for older people and people with disabilitiesof all ages, as well as to people who do not have access to a car or public transport. Newent Association for the disabled at present provides a Dial-a-Ride service Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and at weekends for emergencies only. A regular door to door service operates for shopping, social visits and all essential appointments for disabled people of any age and frail older people. Membership costs £3.00 pa; other costs may vary.

Newent Dial-a-Ride offers training and assessment for the Minibus Driver Assessment Team (MIDAS) and Passenger Assistant Training Scheme (PATS) at reasonable rates. Contact Pat or Barry on 01531-821227 for details.
