Comment: | The Handigolf Foundation gives physically disabled people who cannot walk well enough a chance to play a round of golf at certain clubs, where buggies and specialist equipment are permanently located. Another benefit is the chance to participate in tournaments and organised events. A regular newsletter is published listing events. Able-bodied people are welcome to join as Associate Members, and they are of great help in assisting handigolfers during a round of golf.
Membership costs £30.00 per annum (£15.00 per annum for abled-bodied associate members). There is a £175.00 per annum buggy charge to established players. |
