Comment: | Macmillan Nurses are specially trained to support people through cancer or other life threatening illnesses. This help extends to carers and family as needed. The nurses work together with consultants, GP's, hospital and community nurses and other health care professionals. The nurses are able to give specialist advice in the area of symptom control, as well as psychological support.
This team serves the east of the county - Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and part of Cotswold and Vale. The west of the county is served by the team based in Gloucester. |
