Amberley Ridge is a County maintained residential school with some day places for primary age children with severe emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD). The school has places for thirty nine children. The school aims to develop the full potential of the child. The school delivers the National Curriculum in its entirety. The main ethos of the school is to provide for emotional development and growth. Children partake in nature groups, the social use of language programme and there are therapeutic opportunities. Children who have failed in mainstream thrive at Amberley Ridge.
