Organisation: Riding for the Disabled Association

Comment:

Riding for the Disabled offers riding for adults and children with any moderate physical or learning disability. Particularly suited are those who would benefit from riding out in beautiful country and those who wish to progress to more demanding riding activities. There is also an outdoor riding school, where many riding skills can be learnt. Sessions are also available in stable management, grooming, care of pony etc. For times of riding sessions please contact the group organiser. People with emotional problems and difficulties also very welcome.
Work experience is available for those who wish to learn more about looking after a small farm or stable yard with a view to finding a job in the future. Courses in 'Animal and Horse Care' are available to special needs students - please ring for details.
The emphasis is on caring for each student - it is a very friendly atmosphere where everyone matters.
