Organisation:Breast Awareness Clinic

Comment:

The Cobalt Cancer Appeal Funds Cancer Prevention Service is helping women to become breast aware by continuing to hold free Breast Awareness Clinics. The clinics were set up to reassure women and give them the confidence to check themselves. A female doctor will show you the best way to look at and feel your breasts, what changes you need to be aware of and what lumps and bumps are normal for you - it is a change in the way that your breasts look and feel that you are looking for. As nine out of ten breast cancers are found by women or their partners it is sensible to be breast aware.
The clinics are held in a relaxed and friendly setting. Appointments are fifteen minutes long, and are held, mornings and afternoons, several times a month. Please phone the Cancer Prevention Service to book an appointment.
