The Workers' Educational Association (WEA) is a national educational organisation providing short courses for adults of all ages and backgrounds. The courses tend to run for several weeks (eg six to thirteen weeks) and usually focus on subjects of social or cultural interest. WEA is a voluntary association run on democratic lines by students, voluntary members and affiliated organisations. It is a registered charity and non-party political. Classes are friendly, informal and enjoyable and are run in local communities. The office in Gloucester covers all of Gloucestershire.
