Comment:

The Cirencester and South Cotswold Group addresses various problems of access and safety in and around Cirencester, with the purpose of promoting better access to shops and public buildings. Plans for new buildings are reviewed to keep a watching brief, and advice, solutions and alternatives can be offered to architects and builders who wish to ensure a good standard. Parking for Blue Badge Holders is also dealt with, in addition to matters covered by the Disability Discrimination Act. Access is considered in its widest sense and includes sensory impairments.
Meetings are now held on the third Monday of every month at Middle Bank House, Meadow Road, Cirencester.
