The Welsh Artificial Limb and Appliance Service provides services for people with long term disabilities from three centres in Wales. The services provided are:
+ upper and lower artificial limbs;
+ a range of powered and non powered wheelchairs;
+ a range of aids for War Pensioners;
+ environmental control equipment for severely disabled people;
+ materials for special seating for severely disabled people.
Any queries regarding the service should be made to the Centre Manager. The centre is now responsible for the Artificial Eye Service for Wales and for the Orthotic Service for the Cardiff and Vale area.
