Organisation:British Acupuncture Council

Comment:

The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) was formed in 1995 by the unification of the five member groups of The Council for Acupuncture. It was agreed that one body should represent and govern professionally qualified traditional acupuncturists in their work. The BAcC works to maintain common standards of education, ethics, discipline and Codes of Practice to ensure the health and safety of the public at all times. It is committed to promoting research and enhancing the role that traditional acupuncture can play in the health of the nation.
