The Acorn Centre is a day centre for older people providing day care on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Day Care is provided for lonely, frail and partially housebound people and people with special needs, eg. slightly confused. Sessions are from 10:00am to 3:00pm, although people are welcome any time after 9:00am.
There is a small charge - please phone for details. Transport is provided by Dial-a-Ride or the Voluntary Car Service, or family etc. Lunch is included and consists of a two course meal. Tea and biscuits are served through out the day.
