Comment: | Outward Bound is for anyone aged eleven years to fifty plus, with a wide variety of programmes and courses available. Activities vary depending on age group, and type of course. However, a centre-based programme may include rock climbing, canoeing, abseiling, camping, high ropes and team dynamics. Accommodation is in simple, but comfortable, shared bedrooms (single sex). Participants need to bring a supply of warm, practical clothing, but specialist equipment and waterproof clothing is provided.
There is an extensive winter programme in Scotland and Family Adventure Days at all centres (accompanied children aged nine plus). |
