Abbeyfield is a charity, run by volunteers, set up to provide older people with an alternative to living alone. This house is home to seven residents, who need to be fit and able to take care of themselves and their bedsit rooms. A resident housekeeper looks after the house, cooks two main meals a day and is on hand for emergencies, although no personal or nursing care is available. A Guest Room is available at £20.00 per day, full board.
