Comment:

The RNIB Sunshine House School is a school with capacity for fifty six pupils which caters for children from two to eleven years old with multiple disabilities and a visual impairment. The children are in classes grouped according to age. Staffing levels are high so that pupils often receive individual attention. There are regular meeting days for groups of parents. Each child follows an individual programme, decisions are based on age, development assessment and progress. The school has residential facilities and children may board weekly, part-time or on a respite basis.
