CANDI, the Cinderford Area Neighbourhood Development Initiative, is a registered Charity. CANDI runs an information shop and resource service for young people based above the CANDI Drop-In at 31A Market Street, Cinderford.
Opening hours for the information shop are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11:00am to 4:00pm. Information available covers education, employment and training, environment, Europe, family and relationships, health, housing, justice and equality, money, sport, leisure and travel.
Opening hours for the CANDI Drop-IN are: Mondays to Thursdays, 6:00 to 9:00 pm; Saturdays 12:00 to 3:00pm and Sundays 2:00 to 5:00pm.
The Healthwise Clinic (Info Shop) runs at 31 Market Street on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 6:00pm, and the Young Single Parent Group runs on Mondays, 10:30am to 1:30pm. Shelter are at the Info Shop on Wednesdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm.
There is also an outreach service which operates in Drybrook (Drop-in on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 9:00pm) and RFDC (monthly).
They also offer a floating support service for young people in the Forest of Dean area, through the Supporting People programme .
