New College Worcester is a co-educational secondary school for visually impaired pupils aged eleven to nineteen. It provides a broadly-based education for able pupils who have defective vision. A great majority of the pupils go on to higher education. School terms are similar to those of local authority schools. The college provides for full residence, and weekly and daily attendance are also possible. It is fully equipped to accommodate and educate children with additional disabilities eg. wheelchairs users and hearing impaired children.
