Organisation:Urostomy Association

Comment:

The Association offers mutual support to people who have, or are about to undergo surgery resulting in the removal or diversion of the bladder.

They maintain a network of local groups which help with support. Members of the Association who have had the appropriate training will visit clients at home on request to offer advice and hospital visits can also be arranged. Help can be sought both before and after any treatment. The Association publishes a journal three times a year.
