Cintre is a community for people wanting to take positive steps towards a more independent lifestyle. It is intended for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Key features are guidance and support of a key worker, individual care plans, work experience, training, community living, environmental consciousness, provision and support of leisure activities, ideal residential setting (urban and rural). Cintre offers day-care facilities including arts, craft, home economics, organic farming and gardening. Cintre also provides supported housing for people who want to live a more independent lifestyle, but with the guidance and support of a keyworker.
