Dual aims are to provide funds for research into the cause and cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), to provide a welfare and support service for people with MS, their families and carers. The Society has over three hundred and sixty branches and associations with local support and social activities. Five respite care and holiday homes are run throughout the UK.
The National Centre provides a back-up service to branches and supplies information on a range of subjects about MS. A welfare fund is administered by HQ with the involvement of Local Branch Welfare Officers.
