Organisation:Blue Badge Scheme - Gloucestershire

Comment:

The Blue Badge Scheme gives parking concessions to severely disabled or blind people and their drivers. Badges are given to any person aged two years or over who either receives the higher rate mobility component of Disability Living Allowance, is blind, uses a vehicle supplied by a government dept, gets a grant towards a vehicle of their own or has a permanent disability which makes walking impossible or very difficult. Badges, valid for a three year period, allow concessions in parking, and Severn Bridge Tolls, but not a right to park anywhere.
Phone the Adult Helpdesk for further information or an application form.
(NB If a Blue Badge is lost it must be reported to the Gloucestershire Police on 0845-090-1234 who will issue an incident number. This number will be required on a Replacement Form issued via the Adult Helpdesk , along with another photo of the person and a £2.00 fee)
